Regular participant registration

The registration fee for regular participants includes entry to all conference sessions, access to the exhibition area, the opening and closing sessions and the Jazoon After Hours networking events. During the conference, food & beverages are included (coffee breaks and lunches). Available are passes for attending the 3 main conference days or passes for attending single days.

Tutorial participant registration

When registering as a regular participant there is the option to also register for attending a tutorial. There are free community tutorials (NetBeans and GlassFish) and payed tutorials wich are charged additonally. It is also possible to register solely for attending a tutorial without attending the main conference.

Group registration

Special conditions apply to group registrations (5 or more participants, see table below). To request a set of group registration vouchers please contact the Jazoon registration department at

JUG members

Individual JUG members can receive a voucher through their JUG leader from the registration office. To qualify for the JUG registration fee, JUG members must present proof of JUG membership at the time of registration. This registration type is only for individual JUG members and not for employees of a corporate JUG member company. Please contact your JUG leader to get a voucher for Jazoon'08.

Students

Participants must be over 18 and for qualifying for the Student Special rate not older than 24 (on 24 June 2008). To qualify for the student registration fee, students must present proof of fulltime enrolment at a recognized university or college at both the time of registration and during the conference. Please contact the Jazoon registration department at to request a student voucher. A copy of your student ID must be attached to the email. Students must present their original student ID on-site in order to receive their conference badge and keep it available during all times at the conference. The registration fee for students includes entry to all conference sessions, access to the exhibition area, the opening and the closing sessions and the Jazoon After Hours networking events. During the conference, food & beverages are included (coffee breaks and lunches).

Accompanying persons

A special registration package is available for persons accompanying regular participants. This package includes access to the opening and closing sessions including exhibition as well as food & beverages. Entry to the conference sessions is not included. Media registration

Media registration is free of charge. To register as a media representative, proof of accreditation is required either in form of a photocopy of official press credentials, or a letter of assignment to the Conference (with the letter head of the media organization for which you work). Freelance journalists wishing to cover the conference must submit copies of three by-lined articles in addition to an official letter of assignment. Copies can be sent electronically to or by fax to +41 (0) 43 266 88 44. Conference staff will verify all credentials. Media registration includes entry to all conference sessions, tutorials, the exhibition area, the opening and closing sessions and the Jazoon After Hours networking events. During the Conference, food & beverages are included (coffee breaks and lunches). It also includes the Conference bag and materials. Jazoon cannot take responsibility for postal delays or delivery failure of supporting documentation. As the number of media registrations is limited, Jazoon reserves the right to refuse applications.
