Short bio

Thomas Bocek is a doctoral student at the Communication Systems Group 
CSG of the University of Zürich since 2005. He received his M.Sc. from 
the University of Zürich in computer science and economics. During his 
studies, he worked as a freelancer in software engineering projects. 
Thomas is mainly interested in communication systems and networks, 
especially focusing on Peer-to-Peer systems and biometric networks.
Currently, he is involved in the spin-off company bmcast with the goal 
to promote BioLANCC, which has been an academic research project for 
more than 4 years at the University of Federal Armed Forces Munich, 
Germany and University of Zürich.
