Short bio

Jean-Francois Poilpret is Development Manager at ELCA Vietnam where he 
supervises all on-going developement projects. Besides, he is in charge of the 
Technology Watch Committee, and as such, is much involved in evaluating new 
technologies.
His interests lean towards Java-related technologies, Open Source, and 
particularly rich GUI applications and frameworks. He is the author of two open 
source projects: HiveBoard, a distributed whiteboard 
(http://hiveboard.sourceforge.net) and HiveMind Utilities 
(http://hivetranse.sourceforge.net) to manage persistence, remoting and 
scaffolding of GUI applications, based on HiveMind lightweight container. 
Jean-Francois studied at Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France) where he got a High 
Engineering Diploma in Computer Sciences in 1989.
