Short bio

Olaf Merkert holds a European Masters Degree in Advanced Software Technology.
The title of his 1996 thesis was "Implementation of Persistent Business
Objects". Since then he has worked as a software development consultant
specialising in requirements engineering, UML modelling and user interface
development. He supports Credit Suisse in the utilization of Java UI
Technologies since 2001. For the last two years he has been working with
JSF1.2/Facelets as the current CS standard presentation framework, influencing
the development of JSF components.
