Short bio

Roberto Chinnici is a senior staff engineer at Sun Microsystems, Inc. where he 
works on the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition, with particular focus on ease of 
development, scripting and web services. He is co-specification lead for the 
Java Platform Enterprise Edition 6 (JSR-316) and the architect for Project 
Phobos, a lightweight, scripting-friendly web application development 
environment. Previously he was the specification lead for the JAX-WS 2.0 and 
JAX-RPC 1.1 technologies, both developed under the Java Community Process. He 
also represented Sun in the W3C Web Services Description Working Group and the 
WS-I Basic Profile Working Group. A frequent speaker at developer conferences 
around the world, he resides in San Francisco, CA.
