Short bio

Tobias Murer is the head of java architecture at UBS GWM&BB. In this role he 
currently copes with the issues that come up when a large organization is using
java as a key technology within a global scope. Attracted to java technology
since working at Sun Labs in Palo Alto in 1998 he has been a java developer,
consultant, architect and technical leader in software engineering companies
before joining UBS in 2007. Tobias holds a Master and a Ph.D. in computer
science (ETH Zürich) and a Master of Advanced Studies in Management,
Technology, and Economics (ETH Zürich).
